The Little Mermaid

Sometimes I believe I was a magpie in another life. Or Ariel in her underwater library of curiosities. You see whether it be fashion pieces or furniture and nik naks I almost always go for the most unique, sparkly and decorative objects on offer even if my usual uniform is never really that flashy. And these shoes from ASOS are no exception. At almost $150 in Australian dollars they're not exactly a bargain, particularly when in comparison to ASOS's other shoes, nor something you would wear every day but there is just something about these bejewelled beauties that is so enduring and childlike that its hard to not to far in love with them.
