One rule that can be broken: Red Lip + Bold Eyes.

Magazines and beauty experts are always telling as rules to look our best. Although I do follow a lot of them (never wear make-up to bed, don't pop pimples) I always felt that the rule to only focus on either your lips or eyes was just plan silly. Sure a bare face with just a bright lip can look amazing but a soft smoky eye (which just doesn't have to be black but can also be brown) with a red lip can be sexy, sensual but also laid back.
