Stubbs & Wootton Slippers.
I've never owned a pair of Ugg Boots. From my experience trying on my sisters pairs I'll admit that are super comfortable and really the best footwear for a lazy day in front of the TV and I'll even admit that they are possibly the most famous Australian footwear next to Havinna thongs, which I also have had issues with over the years. But every time I compulated buying a pair all that came to my mind was those girls who littered my university campus in the hundreds who thought an correct day outfit included track suit pants and shoes that are mean't to be worn at night in your home.
However, slippers have been a completely different story. Outdoor slippers or smoking slippers are the altogether opposite of their sleepwear influenced counterpart: delicate, classic looking and just a little expensive. Even with their less than stellar background (Grandparents anyone?) these shoes look like wearable footwear for out of the house and they add a certain luxe almost vintage girl-y spin to most outfits.
As well as Charlotte Olympia's Cat Flats these smoking slipper's from Stubbs & Wootton are constantly on my wish list for the day I have a spare $500 just lying around. I swear it will happen!
