For a fashion house famous for their Italian roots Prada sure do love a bit of that Amelie  style Paris that everyone who doesn't live in Paris dreams of and this new series of pseudo advertisements for Prada Candy seem to not only stick to the trend but takes the brands of the country of love and champagne to a new level.

Created by Wes Anderson and his Moonrise Kingdom co-writer Roman Coppola the set of three mini episodes centre around Candy, played by  Léa Seydoux, and her romance with two handsome, dark and very Anderson like male characters and includes trips to a cafe, seeing in a gorgeous old cinema, a 1960's/70's Mercedes Benz, a visit to pale pink beauty salon your gran would love and a  ménage à trois   that only someone as pretty and French as  Léa could make seem classy . 

There's a lot of influence from and homage to French New Wave in particularly Godard's A Woman is a Woman and Truffaut's Jules and Jim which I for one can never complain about. 

In summary: it's as French and Anderson like as can be especially for a advertisement and therefore amazing.
